Elizabeth Cochran I am a Mom, a YMCA professional, and outdoor fun enthusiast! I love my job - I live at camp year-round with my husband Cameron, twin 11-year-olds Josh and Geoff, and 5-year-old Kara Jane. Growing up, I was a Camp Ernst camper, counselor, lifeguard, and unit leader. After a few years away, I returned in 2003 to be the program director, and am now the Executive Director. I really enjoy the great privilege of getting to know our fantastic Camp Ernst families and pursuing my passion for youth development. Call me with any questions about Camp Ernst's past or present, and follow me on twitter! @CampErnst

Becki Bleikamp Hi, I’m Becki, the Program Coordinator for Teen Programs and Group Rentals. I first came to camp as a camper in the summer of 1999 and haven’t missed a summer since! I graduated this past May from Ball State University with a degree in Elementary Education. More recently, my parents surprised me with a puppy this past August, a sort of belated Birthday gift! Munci (named after Muncie, IN, home of BSU), is a black lab and makes me laugh everyday. She especially loves coming out to camp and running through the valley and playing in the creeks! |

Mike Obremski In 2001 I had my first experience in the wonderful world of summer camp and I’ve been finding ways to get back ever since. My adventures have taken me from New Jersey to Oregon, back to New Jersey, back to Oregon, to New York, Oregon a 3rd time and then finally here to Camp Ernst in Kentucky. I’ve done everything from being a Camp Counselor to teaching Outdoor Educator and everything in between! My wife and I live at camp year round with our dog “Raji” and we’ll be welcoming a future camper to our family in the summer of 2012! Living and working at camp truly is an amazing experience and being able to meet lots of new friends is truly the opportunity of a lifetime. I like to live by the mantra “Do what you love and love what you do” and I’m incredibly lucky to be able to do that every day. I also like Captain Crunch, Orange Soda, Smoked Gouda Cheese, Beef Jerky and Orange Sherbet. If you have any questions or need anything feel free to send me an e-mail or give me a call! |
